2024 | Building the Foundations

The project was established at the National Pediatric Hospital and in Kampong Chhnang Province. The Cambodia Maternity Hub system was further developed, local healthcare professionals received training, and professional exchanges took place between the Czech Republic and Cambodia.

Six Cambodian healthcare professionals completed a professional training programme in Prague, while Czech experts subsequently worked directly in Cambodia. The project also focused on developing clinical procedures and digital tools.

2025 | Developing the System

The project continued to build professional capacity through education, data-driven activities, and deeper cooperation between Czech and Cambodian partners.

2026 | Preparing for Sustainability

The final year of the project focuses primarily on expanding the collection of perinatal data, professional training placements, online mentoring, preparing local trainers, and completing planned investments and other activities.
