The CZ Clinical Lab Improvement project was a six-month initiative implemented in 2024, aimed at strengthening the professional and technical capacities of the laboratories at the National Pediatric Hospital (NPH) in Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
As part of the project, laboratory management and conventional microbiological diagnostic methodologies were developed, laboratory equipment was upgraded, and professional know-how was transferred between Czech and Cambodian specialists. Emphasis was placed on introducing financially accessible and sustainable laboratory procedures adapted to local conditions. The project thus laid the foundation for the further development of laboratory diagnostics and for improving the quality of healthcare at NPH.
The project was successfully completed in 2024.
