Czech obstetrician and anaesthesiologist and Regional Perinatologist for the Central Bohemian Region. He works at the Department of Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the General University Hospital in Prague. In addition to preventive and clinical care, his professional activities include scientific research and, in particular, university-level education of physicians and midwives. His other professional interests include the popularisation of science.
